The history of Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City began in 1935. As a key gateway to northern Michigan for travelers from near and far, Cherry Capital Airport has continued its focus on bringing those from other parts of the country to experience the sights and sounds that envelop Traverse City and the surrounding communities.
