Invitation to Bid - UPGRADE TO PUBLIC ADDRESS (PA) SYSTEM
Northwestern Regional Airport Commission, Cherry Capital Airport will receive sealed bids for the construction of: UPGRADE TO PUBLIC ADDRESS (PA) SYSTEM The Work may be generally described as the removal of existing PA headend and input device equipment and replacement with new equipment, removal of existing exterior PA speakers and replacement with new speakers and installation of new CAT 5E or CAT 6 fiber optic cables and network switches to support the new PA headend and input device equipment.. A Mandatory Prebid Meeting will be held at 10:00 am local time, Monday, February 1, 2021 at the Northwestern Regional Airport Commission, Cherry Capital Airport upper level administration office at 727 Fly Don’t Drive, Traverse City, MI, 49686. Attendance at the meeting is Mandatory for all prime, contractors wishing to submit a bid on the project. Minutes of the meeting will be distributed to all plan holders as an addendum. Sealed bids for the project will be received by the Northwestern Regional Airport Commission, Cherry Capital Airport upper level administration office at 727 Fly Don’t Drive, Traverse City, MI, 49686 until 2:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, February 11, 2021. Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after specified closing time. All interested parties are invited to attend. Bidders shall obtain complete electronic bidding documents as follows: Digital (pdf format) Form of Proposal, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications and other contract Documents will be available January 21, 2021 3:00pm (local time) and may be downloaded for an on-line non-refundable payment of $25 through the Mead & Hunt, Inc. website www.meadhunt.com under “Electronic eBids”. Seasonal AIRPORT MAINTAINER
We are seeking candidates to fill the position of Seasonal AIRPORT MAINTAINER This position requires shift work, holidays and weekends. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general maintenance of the airport grounds and facilities, general maintenance of airport vehicles, snow removal and janitorial services. Applicants must possess a current driver's license. Invitation for Public Comment on Airport Governance
Traverse City, MI (Dec. 4, 2019) – Grand Traverse County and Leelanau County—the owners of the Cherry Capital Airport (“Airport” or “TVC”)—and the Northwestern Regional Airport Commission (“NRAC”)—the governing body operating TVC—invites the public to provide comments on transitioning to a regional airport authority governance model. Three public input sessions will be held December 10 at 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM, and December 11 at 8-10 PM.

Ordinance Number: 2019-1 - The Northwestern Regional Airport Commission has the authority to adopt and amend all necessary rules, regulations, and ordinances, for the management, government, and use of the Cherry Capital Airport and any properties under its control. MCL 259.133. The Airport is neither designed nor intended as a public forum for First Amendment activities. Such activities will only be permitted in or upon the public areas of the Airport as set forth and, in the manner, prescribed by this policy.

Cherry Capital Airport has prepared this Emergency Contingency Plan pursuant to 42301 of the FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012. Questions regarding this plan can be directed to Dan Sal at email@example.com. Cherry Capital Airport is filing this plan with the Department of Transportation because it is a commercial airport and may be used for diversions.
