How early should I arrive for my flight?
Arrive 2 hours prior to departure.
What are the TSA’s hours of operation for the security screening checkpoints?
The TSA’s scheduled hours for security screening checkpoints are 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.
Traveler Advisory: The normal scheduled hours for the security screening checkpoint at TVC are 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. Under some circumstances, screening activities may be briefly extended, but departing passengers are advised to expect normal scheduled hours unless an extension is expressly confirmed by the passenger’s airline or an authorized TSA representative at TVC. Once screening activities have concluded for the evening, they will not resume until the following morning at 4:00 a.m.
What time does the Airport open?
Between 3:30 am – 4:00 am the terminal doors will be open based on the earliest flight of the day. Ticket counters and the TSA checkpoint will also be open at this time. The Airport Administration office is open Monday – Friday from 8 am – 5 pm.
Does the Airport have a lost and found?
For items left on the airplane, please contact the airline to file a claim. For items left in the terminal or parking lots, please contact the Administration office at 231-947-2250 extension 0.
What do I do if my battery is dead when I arrive back from my flight?
Please contact the parking booth at 231-922-9650 for any parking-related issues. The parking booth has a jump box and can assist you.
Is there someone I can leave my keys with for someone to pick up my car from the long-term or short-term parking lot?
Please contact the parking booth at 231-922-9650, they will keep your vehicle keys until your party arrives to pick up your vehicle. Please call ahead of time to arrange this service.
How do I pay for my parking in the long-term or short-term parking lot?
When you arrive back from your flight and exit the parking lots, your ticket will calculate your charges based on the amount of time you have been in the lot. The parking booth accepts credit, debit, or cash for payment.
Does the Airport provide a shuttle or valet service?
No, we do not have a shuttle or valet service.
Does the Airport offer foreign currency exchange?
No, the Airport does not offer foreign currency exchange as we are not an international Airport.
Can I travel without the REAL ID?
Beginning May 7, 2025, travelers boarding a plane for domestic travel in the United States must present a REAL ID-compliant document. Please visit your local Secretary of State’s office to apply for the REAL ID. A valid US Passport is also acceptable under this law as a REAL ID-compliant document. Does the Airport have a restaurant?
Yes, the Cherry Country Café is located past the security checkpoint. If you are not flying but still wish to order food, orders can be taken at the gift shop and brought down to the public area. Vending machines are also offered in the public area.
Do the airlines offer wheelchair assistance?
Yes, please contact your airline to arrange ahead of time. Wheelchairs are located in front of each ticket counter for your convenience.
Does the Airport offer luggage carts?
Yes, luggage carts are available throughout the ticketing and baggage claim areas.
Do I need to get a COVID test before my flight?
No, airlines are not requiring a COVID test for domestic travel at this time.
